But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.  Revelation 21:8

How pitiful the one who dies and descends downward into hell to spend eternity.  All the earthly warnings were ignored.  The churches, the Bibles, the Christians, the preaching of the cross were to no avail to that poor soul.  Maybe they said there was no God, no after life, no hell, but now to their dismay they are helpless in the fires of the damned. 

How is someone so ignorant? How is someone so foolish? How is someone so deceived?  The answer,  

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Corinthians 4:4 

There is a Devil, Satan himself, the great arch enemy of God and man has deceived another soul out of eternal life. What about my reader, have you believed in Jesus as your savior, or like most people you are willing to take a chance and gamble  with your eternal soul? My friend, hell is a real place, and it was prepared for the Devil and his angels. Jesus said, 

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:41

People follow the Devil to hell because they will not follow Jesus to heaven.  God has given each person the right to choose where they will spend eternity, and some choose wisely, and some choose unwisely.  

Jesus tells us,  

 ....the rich man also died, and was buried;  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, ...  Luke 16:16-17 

Here was a man who lived a very prosperous life.  He was a man of means and lived as if he would never die, but, one day he did die, and life for him changed forever.  This man prepared for this life on earth, but failed to prepare for the next life, the life he would now live forever. 

Now he is thirsty, now he is lonely, now he is helpless, now he is in torment and now he is damned forever.  He was allowed to choose his eternal home and he chose to reject a willing, loving savior! Man can only blame himself.

The Choice of Unbelief

The horrors of hell cannot be told they are so excruciating.  The sounds of the moaning, groaning and screaming in terror will never end for every soul there.  This is no movie, this is no tale, this is reality, and it will last forever. The darkness, the fire, the brimstone, this God forsaken place is the price to pay for unforgiven sin that curses the soul of the unsaved. 

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.  Matthew10:28 

The weeping and wailing and the gnashing of teeth will continue forever.  The thoughts, the remembering of the opportunities once given, but spurned, will haunt every poor soul endlessly.  Too late now there is no undoing what has been done once one passes away.   

Always remember this my readers, NO ONE is having fun in Hell.  No one is laughing and having a good time, and no one would want to join them there. What they are doing, is wishing their family and friends will be warned not to come to this place of doom.  Those who are in hell are very concerned and afraid for the soul of those not there. 

In hell people are likely naked in their unredeemed bodies that were created to endure the fires of hell for eternity.  One drop of water would just be so soothing, but no, there will be no water, not even one drop for those poor, thirsty souls who refused to be washed from their sins.    

Think of the many people who will see the person who killed them in hell & the women who will see the person who raped & killed them.  Will they be fighting one another?  Will that add to the horrors of Hell? And remember this my friend. In hell there will not only be the murderers, & rapists of the world, but the moral, clean cut, church going folks as well. If someone has not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, they WILL be in HELL. Not just the “bad people,” as many think.

The terrors of hell will be unimaginable for every soul there.  Existing in a lake of fire and brimstone, and worse than that, is being separated from God forever, which is the worst of all punishments.  Those who rejected Christ are in a place where there is no mercy, no love, no grace and no one who cares.  That is the choice every soul in hell made for themselves forever.  Consider what the writer of Hebrews wrote,

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.  Hebrews 10:31

In our world today there are many people who think they are tough and think they are invincible.  But the truth be told the graveyards and cemeteries are filled with such kind of people and their soul has already gone down into the flames of torment to begin their existence in a world of darkness and woe. 

These people have believed false religious leaders.  They have believed Professors and teachers who taught them there was no God.  They have willingly believed the Devil’s lie there is no hell, but now they occupy a place there forever.  What stupid, blind, foolish, and proud people they were.  Those in hell now, who once laughed and denied there even was a hell, and said “There is no God,” will laugh and deny no more.  Once they passed from this world into eternity, they realized how wrong they were. Now they are crying and grinding their teeth. My friends, this did NOT have to happen. But by their own choice, through free will so graciously given to us by Almighty God many made the choice of unbelief. Once someone chooses to reject God’s son as their savior the choice is made & they will spend eternity without God.

A Holy God, who loved his son allowed him to suffer like no one has ever suffered as he experienced the wrath of God hanging upon the cross of Calvary.  He experienced that wrath so men would not have too. As he hung there, men jeered at him and mocked him, yet he hung there because of his love for all of them and for all mankind to come.  To spurn the love, mercy and grace of God is costly.  Eternity alone, is long enough to satisfy the righteous justice of God for any sinner who would spurn the sacrifice of the lamb of God. Once the savior is rejected Satan & hell is all that is left for eternity. Satan’s future home is mentioned in Revelation 19:10,

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 

Once, Satan was the most privileged of all angelic hosts, the most beautiful, given the most authority, yet he was not satisfied.  He thought he ought to be God, but the created is not God, only the Creator is God and Satan has made a fool out of himself and many others.  

Since Satan could not be God, he decided to spite God by keeping as many people as he could away from the free salvation God offered sinners.  He and his imps have stayed busy night and day spreading lies, sending false ministers, starting false religions, working to keep people from believing in Jesus as their Savior.  

And there are many lies. Like one church is as good as another, one minister is as good as another, one religion, or one holy book is as good as another. Or a favorite of the devil, God would not let “you” go to Hell. These and many like it are all designed to keep people confused and from the truth of God’s word. 

Now as unredeemed souls leave this world of woe, they descend into a world of reality where sorrows and sufferings never end.  Only in this life is there an opportunity to be saved.  To neglect to ensure the soul is saved is the gravest of all mistakes.  This life was all about getting ready to live forever and most folks are failing to do that.   What about you? Here are the words so many are going to hear when they leave this life.  These are the words of the Savior, the one who loved them all so much he died upon a cruel cross to pay their sin debt in full.  He wanted all of them to spend eternity with him where there are no sorrows, fear or death.  He wanted to love them and be loved by them, but they said no.  

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?   And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23 

HOW TO BE SAVED

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

Know You Are Lost. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23                                                

Know God Loves You. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Know the Wages of Sin.  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death. Proverbs 8:36           

Know What to Believe. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10          

Know Assurance.  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13

GOD and HELL 

And what if once you went there, from that pit you began to yell. 

“Oh God,” why didn’t you tell me of this place where I have gone,

Among these tormenting flames, now this is my eternal home.

“Oh God,” I did not know, that my sin had so offended you.

Now I am in this hell hole, and all my friends are here too. 

But God has clearly told you, from his Word he clearly says,

How much he really loves you, and Jesus has paid your sin debt.

So now you have no excuse, there is none that you can blame.

Should you go to the Devil’s Hell, from there you’ll forever scream!
